KENZO STAR TIGER AND CLOUD TIGER

CREATIVE PATTERNS INSPIRED BY ANCESTRAL TECHNIQUES

STAR TIGER

'Kenzo Star Tiger' inspiration comes from Edo Komon, a traditional Japanese printing technique creating patterns by using a repetition of tiny dots.

For FW24 collection NIGO, inspired by tradition and craftmanship, creates a new seasonal tiger using and ensemble of dots giving an impression of sparkling stars in the night.

Various techniques are used through 'Kenzo Star Tiger' assortment : printed patterns on denim, small stitches on knitwear as well as pearl embroideries on jersey, enhancing NIGO's attention to details.

CLOUD TIGER

'Kenzo Cloud Tiger' print is inspired by an antique Korean embroidery from the 19th century, also found in Japanese iconography.

The details of the clouds are an echo to the main theme of this season: the constellation and the lunar world, as an ode to space.

'Kenzo Tiger Cloud', first seen on FW24 fashion show, embellishes knitwear and jersey pieces through qualitative printing and embroidery techniques enriching the pieces with pearls, sequins and beads.
