SUMIRE cropped jeans

These cropped wide-leg jeans are a blend of multiple styles, illustrating one of artistic director Nigo's primary philosophies: "The future is in the past." The wide-cropped cut and high waist are a nod to the culottes of the 70s and 80s. The bold colour and contrasting topstitching are reminiscent of 90s jeans styles, while the Japanese denim construction gives this garment a resolutely modern aesthetic.
