Just a few short months ago we set up a fish tank in our apartment to give it some green, and set it up with enough live plants and shrimp and snails to be able to sustain itself for a few weeks at a time while we travel. We got a couple of pretty Endler's guppies, the guppies that are closest to the way they appear in the wild, and thought we were all set. But this week we got home from a couple weeks of travel and glanced at the tank as we set down our bags, and we had to double take. Our tank was no longer the serene little underwater world we'd set up; the five guppies had multiplied, having had eleven of the tiniest baby fish we'd ever seen. Our now sixteen fish are swimming around so rapidly and crazily, the tank now seems totally crowded: totally crowded with adorableness!
