The summer landscape of upstate New York, with its plethora of wildflowers to be picked and secret beaches and quarries to be found, is one of Carol and Humberto's favorite places to explore. For this print of seashell flowers, they mixed these sunny memories into intricate arrangements reminiscent of the work of the 18th century's natural science illustrator Albertus Seba, and sat the lightly colored shells on top of some boldly colored solid backdrops.
