SUMMER RECIPE #4: CRYING TIGER

Here's our last summer recipe, dedicated to our beloved tiger !

Ingredients:
150 g (1/3 lb) of filet of beef per serving

 

Marinade

- 3 tsp honey

3 tsp soy sauce

2 tsp ground green peppercorns

3 tbsp sesame oil

2 cloves of garlic, chopped

 

Sauce

- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

4 tbsp nuoc mam fish sauce

2 limes

2 tsp sugar

1 hot pepper

A little fresh ginger, freshly grated

1 sprig of lemongrass a few leaves of thai basil

1 small bouquet of cilantro


Preparation:

Mix all ingredients for the marinade and use it to cover the meat.

If the marinade is too thick, add 1 tbsp of water.

Cover with plastic food wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Mix ingredients for the sauce (except herbs) and set aside.

Sear the meat in a hot non

Stick pan and cut it into very fine slices.

Sprinkle with herbs and serve the sauce on the side.

Serve with white rice and vegetables stir fried in a wok. It's ready!
