Vincent Beaurin, the artist known for creating simple, abstract sculptures that hold both surprising mythical power and calmness is exhibiting some of his beautiful pieces in our KENZO store on Rue de Rennes over the weekend, as part of the Parcour Saint Germain's annual in-store artist exhibits around Paris and coinciding with FIAC, the annual international art fair in Paris. Beaurin set up some of his giant color "spots", big hanging dots made of a sandy, almost porous texture. "Red, orange, blue; these words do not mean much when working with color," Beaurin said at the opening. "Each color is a world, and each artwork is a world." These deep, hypnotic, colorful spots will on display until October 30th at Kenzo (60-62 Rue de Rennes, Paris).
