The style of young Chinese photographer Sze Ng can be immediately identified for its unique alchemy of evocative narrative and low-key, playful directness. Silhouette of My Shrine, mixes drama and candor against the backdrop of the legendary 19th century Parisian hôtel particulier, La Pagoda.
In set, setting and style, characters are captured playacting in thrall to the aesthetic possibilities of East Meets West. Their duality highlights the polarised influences of Hitchcock and Wong Kar Wai. Both their visions influenced this Fall/Winter’s collection: the mix of prints and silhouettes inspired by the long-standing love affair between two traditions of glamor and refinement.

The fur coat has always signaled a deeper shade of glam: more luxurious, more decadent, perhaps slightly more blue. KENZO has rewritten this smoldering icon with faux-fur in a vibrant Indonesian Flower print, casting it to parts unknown and mysterious.
