Each piece from our archive is unique and tells a story. After a history of almost 50 years, KENZO celebrates its heritage and its creator for this 3rd exclusive collection.
Kenzo Takada was fascinated with the works of 'Le Douanier’ Rousseau, particularly his painting 'Le Rêve' which he discovered during his first visit to the museums of Paris. This is how the work that inspired him became the decor for his first boutique in the Vivienne gallery in Paris.
It is therefore natural that the Memento No. 3 collection reinterprets this work of art on jacquard trousers, coats, dresses or tops. Knitting is also in the spotlight with both ready-to-wear clothing and accessories.
This jumper is adorned with a large print that differs depending on the colour. To enhance the pattern and cable knit of this piece, pair it with the plain culottes or the striped midi skirt.
