THE BEST THINGS TO DO IN LOS ANGELES – PART 2: MARKETS
This season, KENZO heads out to California, Carol and Humberto’s home state. We asked Joy Yoon - author of the book 'The best things to do in Los Angeles – 1001 ideas' (Universe / Rizzoli International) - to select some surprising and unexpected addresses in Los Angeles. Our second category is 'markets'.
To have bargains, travel to the Rose Bowl Flea Market!
Sometimes, it does not hurt to stay home on a Saturday night and go to bed early, say around 9PM. Because those who rise early the next day – especially if it’s the 2nd Sunday of the month – will be rewarded with treasures beyond their wildest dreams!
Okay, I might be exaggerating a little, but there are plenty of treasures to uncover at the Rose Bowl Flea Market, Los Angeles’s (and, some believe, America’s) ultimate bazaar. Here more than a thousand vendors come to hawk goods that range from the lust worthy to the downright confusing all around the grounds of this historic stadium. With everything including the kitchen sink for sale at the Rose Bowl Flea Market, you won’t come away empty-handed.
