KENZO FALL-WINTER 2025 WOMEN’S FASHION SHOW BY NIGO

LUCKY ME? LUCKY YOU!

KENZO’s first standalone womenswear show in eight years sees Artistic Director Nigo deep dive into the House’s archives to create an eclectic and playful collection, introducing the KENZO girl anew, coloured by youthful cheekiness, confidence, bold attitude and play.

Presented at the 18 rue Vivienne, the Maison’s proud beating heart, girls in exquisitely hand-wrought looks file around the 17th century hôtel particulier, reinterpreted in the manner of an archetypal haute couture salon.

The sharp tailoring of this season is blended with the casual Japanese denim, and the freeform billow of ballooning pants. The suggested lingerie-like delicacy is pushed further by peekaboo silk satin camisole slips, elevating the collection and matching accessories, whose bags feature shirred handles and delicate ribbon bow details.

KENZO’s graphic heritage is expressed through boisterous bunnies: 'Lucky Me’, a powder pink buck; and 'Lucky You!’ a baby blue doe, inspired by a 1979 sketch by Kenzo Takada. They come to life on the runway, first on a hand-crafted vest, and later as plush hooded jackets.

In a touching acknowledgment of the House’s atelier, a hand-embroidered parka features rainbow autographs of each of its members, which is also displayed on 59FIFTY fitted caps developed in collaboration with New Era.
